It Is Time For A Rest

Good morning All, well great news, the wall framing is done in the Carriage House. I still have a bit of rafter bracing and prep for when we do Sheetrock but the majority of the hard framing is over. As we now wait for funds to come in, as we are now out of money, and wait for my wrist and hand to heal from surgery, I have switched to getting up a chicken coupe for our little chicks who have now grown up and are starting to lay eggs. The little entry level coupe has now become way too small for 9 full size chickens.

I also need to get a shelter up for Riella (our horse). She has spent so much time in barns and stalls in her life before we were blessed to have her, that she just does not seem to go to the trees for shelter when bad weather come. So both of these little projects were needing to get done before I went in for surgery. I have some left over wood, from other projects, and was planning on using it but my pre-op appointment yesterday brought things to a slow crawl. I will need to now slow way down as they monitor a couple things in preparations for the surgery in a week. These projects may just have to wait until the middle of September when I can get more use of my hand.

Life is an ever revolving challenge. All we can do is take what is thrown at us. We appreciate your prayers for funds and healing. I will be keeping in touch as the process continues and as projects keep underway.
