Rain, Hay, and Drilling Holes

It is an exciting and arduous job bringing PMR to life. I knew that I would need to trust in God for all things but did not full grasp the magnitude I would need God’s intervention. This is what I mean. When you run a non-profit and you have limited resources, you have to be still and wait many times for God to show the next step. We have a portion of the property which we harvest for hay and we do not irrigate it. So it is determinant upon God to bring rain at key times. Well, it has been a pretty dry year. God has been bringing moisture in key times to help it grow. We just had a little over 3 inches of rain over 3 days. Praise God the hay has grown so much as it was thirsty. Another area, at least for me, is digging in the ground. The soil here is some top soil but a lot of rock and clay. If the ground is not moist (but not wet) it will tear up equipment and be like concrete. As we get ready to drill the holes for the Carriage House, God came through again. The latest rain will allow us to dig the holes by hand or use equipment, depending on what the Lord allows me to have in the form of equipment.

It is times like this I feel higher anxiety and hear the Lord telling me to wait on Him as He directs my steps. It is so hard to sit, wait, and trust sometimes. I so eagerly want to have PMR ready for veterans and people in need to come and receive all God has for them.

In His time all things are perfect and anointed. I can feel the Spirit moving!
