The Hay Harvest Is Done

Good morning all, it was a long day but the hay harvest is now done. It was a huge team effort. I know I say this a lot but I really do not know what I would do without my friend, neighbor, and fellow veteran Bennie. He saved the feed we will need for our livestock when winter comes. We are praying it will be enough but Praise God, it is cut, bailed, and in the barns and sheds.

As we worked I took some time to let my body recover a bit and stood there in the fields soaking in the beauty of the Smokey Mountain expanse. God has blessed this property and you feel it every time you pause long enough to let Him sweep over you. What an amazing view.

This morning it was a little harder to get out of bed but it is good to see all the great things happening.
